DENNIS RODMAN COACHES A MASTERPIECE AND LEADS BULLDOGS TO HUGE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
'DENNIS RODMAN BRINGS ELMIRA BULLDOGS BACK TO FIRST PLACE. NY WIZARDS CAME IN UNBEATEN AND DENNIS RODMAN SENDS THEM HOME WITH THE LOSS.'
The NY Wizards (7-1) came in to the game unbeaten and in 1st place. The Elmira Bulldogs came (7-1) entered the game with the teams only loss coming at the hands of the NY Wizards just one week ago on the road.
So what was the difference???
Dennis Rodman was the difference. Rodman in his second game of his professional coaching debut weekend spent much of the game pacing the sidelines while directing and positioning Elmira's players in ways that never seemed to fail. During timeouts, dead ball situations and foul shots it was Rodman who was constantly calling one of the teams guards over to set up Elmira's next play on the fly and it rarely if ever seemed to back fire. Coach Rodman was even seen grabbing the clip board during timeouts to draw up key plays on the fly much like could be seen from his former head coach Phil Jackson.
"I have never in my life seen such a thing of beauty, stated Bulldogs Director of Operations Charles Berch. It was like he was an artist painting a picture, every time he drew up a play or designed one on the fly it worked. He can see things happen before they happen and knows exactly where to position players on offense and defense".
It was Brandon Lawley who had the game winning block and it was Rodman who told him "You need to sag down let the man with the ball come to you and you will block the shot". It happened just like Dennis told him it would. Prior to that it was Dennis who told Kirk Stewart during a timeout "when the shot goes up you need to get around you're man to the inside and attack the rim for the put back it is going to be there". The following play out of the timeout the shot went up Stewart got around the box out on the inside of the Wizards player and tipped in the shot as it came off the rim.
"You can say what you want about Dennis Rodman on TV or talk about what color hair he has, but anyone who was at that game tonight and witnessed what he did as a head coach can not deny that he has the ability to be a head coach in the NBA if he chooses to do so", stated Bulldogs Director of Operations and Owner Charles Berch. "I have no problem putting my ego on the back burner and saying that we lose that game if Dennis Rodman is not the head coach because its a fact. He scripted the perfect game and his basketball knowledge and IQ is higher then anything I have ever seen."
After tonights 105-103 victory over the NY Wizards and last nights 100-99 win over the Garden State Rebels Dennis Rodman is now a perfect 2-0 as a head coach with the second win of his professional coaching career coming over a previously unbeaten 1st place NY Wizards team.
